A Four Star family-owned cottage just outside Ballater. Situated close to Lochnagar, Glenmuik and numerous Munros, there is also a wealth of wildlife including osprey and golden eagles close by. The cottage has three bedrooms, a bathroom upstairs, a cloakroom downstairs and a fully-fitted kitchen with washer-dryer and dishwasher. Linen is provided. There is a log-burner, full central heating and double glazing making it cosy for winter holidays. There is ample off-road parking, a large garden and secure outbuildings for storing bikes or drying equipment.

Balvenie is a delightful old cottage, one of the oldest in Braemar. Part of the building is 'listed' and retains many old features. The cottage has been comfortably furnished and has a modern bath and shower room. Outside there is a large secluded garden with a summerhouse containing barbecue facilities.

Braemar is a haven for the outdoor enthusiast with many walks within the village or just a short drive away. It is home to the famous "Braemar Gathering" held on the first Saturday of September and attended by the Queen. Balmoral Castle is close by and open to the public when the Queen is not in residence.
