Re: Bagging the Mamores in a day

Very well done to the both of you.
Done a very similar route about 6 weeks back but under much better weather conditions. ☺

Re: A North West Coast Fantasy - Sun, Sea, Sand...& Swimming

Fantastic trip Dooterbang. Great report and pics.

I really must get on my road bike more, it's the other toad users that scare me and stop me using as much as I should.

Re: 5+1 from Shenavall bothy

Hello Beech.

your correct, they are more than capable. only a few doggie paddle strokes were needed. We chose the widest part of river for crossing as it was slower flowing and most probably shallower.

Was mentioned earlier.. vango spirit 300.
We have vango spirit 200. Ideal for us, 2 adults and 2 dogs and all our gear in the porch. Had it about 4 years now with no issues at all.

Re: Easter Bunny Boiler - Roasted on Black Mount Duo!!

I meant to comment on that cracking picture in your TR. The one with the Spanish Hikers heading for the summit. The zoomed one is a cracking fottie.
They look very close to that hairy looking cornice.
