I was just concerned as Glen Pean has had storm damage this winter, and Oban looks a good bit more exposed. I wouldn't read too much into that (unless there has been more that I'm not aware of). Usually open by mid-late March I think, judging by the announcements from previous years. I have used it a couple of times in the past at that sort of time, although not for a few years. I don't think there are applications in for all of those locations - looks like an exercise in having a load of backup spots identified in case the one put forward for planning gets rejected.
