A big congratulations goes to BobMcBob for his winning photo of Sgurr Eilde Mor in the closest competition so far in Photo Competition #8 :clap:

This month’s photos must have been taken between September 1st and September 30th 2012

HOW TO ENTER:

User's may submit ONE photo only from the previous month.
You have until 1159pm on the 15th of October to enter a photo.
Any photos entered after this time are ineligible to be voted on.
Photos must be your own and can be from anywhere in the world provided they are of an outdoor nature.
If possible, please link your photo from another site, ie. Flickr, so that it can be clicked on and enlarged.
You must list the location and date taken. - failure to do so by the cut off time may result in your photo being ineligible.

You may include your camera details in the entry and any editing done if you wish.

PLEASE NOTE: COMMENTS MUST NOT BE MADE IN THIS THREAD ABOUT PHOTOS DURING THE ENTRY PERIOD IN ORDER TO KEEP PHOTOS TOGETHER FOR EASIER VOTING.

If you want to make any comments, they can be made in the thread - Photo Competiton #9 Comments

Voting begins at midnight on the 16th of October and will end at 1159pm on the 20th October. Choose your top 3, with your first choice receiving 4 points, second choice gets 2 points and third choice receives 1 point.

If you are going to be away during the voting period, you can PM me with your vote before the cut off time.

WINNING PHOTO(S):

The winner will be the photo with the most votes as counted and verified by RicKamila. In the event of there being more than one photo with the most votes, all photos on that score will win. The winning photo(s) will be entered in to a seperate competition over Christmas to win Photo of the Year.

Returning late from the steep little Corbett of Cúl Beag in light rain I rounded a bend in the soggy path to this scene. The hill in the background is Beinn Mhòr na Còigich (aka Ben More Coigach) and the loch is Loch Lurgainn. Not much processing on this, just a bit of levels & some sharpening. Taken on Friday 21st Sept.

Sunrise from Pared y Cefn Hir, near to Cadair Idris (and the mountain to the RHS), Mid Wales. 8th Sept.
Camped out overnight on the summit for this one.
