We caught the Puffin shuttle from outside the castle inn in Little haven and it dropped us off at St Brides cross ( grid ref sm806108 ) where we started our walk, it`s just a short walk to St Brides haven were you join the coastal path.

As you start out on the path you are almost at sea level. The path slowly rises and as you gain height the view starts to open up.

The path is very clear and easy to follow and way marked with an acorn symbol. As we continued along the path we came across a strange stone that has a cone shaped hole carved in it and it was the same on the other side.

Lindsey
As you follow the path you drop down to a little cove called Mill haven.

(I was tempted to have a swim, but no swim shorts). Here you cross a foot bridge.

As I said the path is easy follow.

As we walked along I said to Lindsey I think we are in the land of the Pixies because right before us were some Pixie stools   .

Looking at the path ahead
We were an 1&1/2 hours into the walk and we decided to stop for a break at a point looking down at a well known dive site called the Hen & Chicks.

Hen & Chicks
I have dived this site myself many times in the past, After our break we continued on and we came to a wooded area where I saw squirrel and and shortly after a fox that ran across the path in front of me, Lindsey was disappointed as she was walking behind me and so did not see anything.

Hen & Chicks so called I believe because the large rock is the hen and the two smaller ones are the chicks.
Looking ahead we could see Broad Haven with Little Haven coming into view.

As we neared Little Haven the path takes you on to a road for about 50 yards after which you rejoin the path. Shortly after you start to head down towards Little Haven.

We were surprised at the the amount of ascent we made during this walk. But there again it was a bit up and down.
