Cycled over to Cockley Beck from Langdale High Close youth hostel, did anticlockwise horseshoe around the head of Eskdale taking in all of the interesting Wainright scrambly bits (awkward step on Crinkle Crags, Great Slab on Bowfell, Lord's Rake/forget-the-name traverse onto Scafell. Windy day, with a mixture of cloud and views. Cycled back to youth hostel.
