, smashing day, just wanted the stretch to Drymen out of the way,

so strode out for 4 hrs before stopping for lunch just as the trail left Drymen to continue North.

Airing my feet at Drymen
The second part of the day, finishing off with Conic Hill and down into Balmaha went a lot quicker than anticipated, met a group from irvine just before C Hill and stayed with them to the side of Conic, they headed on while I scrambled up to the top.

Windswept on Conic Hill
Amazing views all round on what was a fabulous sunny day. Exceptionally windy up there too.

Down into Balmaha bunkhouse . Smashing place, well run and in with a great crowd.
