Well, after a superb April, Scotland has had perhaps the poorest May I can remember. It didn't stop you all visiting Walkhighlands though, with 4.9 million pages viewed last month! Another huge bunch of trip reports too, with plenty of real quality.

The two winners both describe walks done on May 1st whilst the weather still held:

Runner up and £30 of Webtogs gear goes to LeithySuburbs for his Blue Skye Day.
But the winner and £60 of Webtogs gear is Andrew Doggett for Liathach on Fire, surely one of the most dramatic trip reports we've had.

Really hard luck to those who missed out! Thanks for all your reports- and also to our friends at Webtogs who sponsor the competition (and provide a superb online gear service).

Congratulations to both - both great reports. I think the Liathach one must be the most viewed report in a single month ever - it's already hovering just outside the top 40 most viewed reports on this site!

(Edited as I just realised I read Chris's comment then repeated it word for word!)

I think it was obivous from day 1 that Andrew was going to win this month. I mean, who could beat being up a hill whilst on fire. Even STV used his photos in the news!!
