After 5 weeks of walking various munros with alan s & jb it was good to have my regular wing man back for this one.as you may well have read on the earlier report by stretch he had been back home in the states visiting his family and girlfriend Amanda, where he sampled his moms and Amandas fine cooking,so it was a somewhat heavier American walking partner that had returned
Anyway here we were back down in Glen Feshie, where the big American looked happy to be out in our fine scottish weather

Will not bore you much with this report as Andy has already written a fine account of our day, will just post a few images before the clag set back in

As stretch has already explaimed he will be going back home very soon for good, and for me this will be a sad day when he eventually leaves,so here"s hoping we have a few more hillwalking days before his time is up

Doesn't look bad at all, despite the misty summits :) . Lucliky Stretch's outdoor clothes are fairly loose fitting, allowing him to, er, stretch a bit outwards without looking too different

I think the 29k walk on this one should help shift some of moms cooking

Cheers Alastair S, look forward to reading & looking at pictures when you post your report.

Had a wee look at your walks diary before this walk, beacause we had planned to tackle 2/3 munros from Glen Ey.Carn Bhac,Beinn Iutharn Mhor,An Socach(all on foot),but I/we were put off (Steve Kew Ciccerone guide book) says the bog/peat hags between Carn Bhac & BIM are murder, how did you find them,if you dont mind me asking

They were big (quite often like crossing small streams & 6-10ft deep) but I didn't find them too bad. Went on for about a k. I did these in October (lots of rutting deer about) and I don't think it had been too rainy in the days before hand. After a deluge then yes, it would be a bit of a 'mare. All you have to do is find a week long dry spell
