The first walk in many months due to weather brought myself and Donny to An Caisteal. We were gona'e attempt it the last time we were up doing beinn a chroin and ben chabair but didnt have enough time.I had went to see Jack Black mindstore the day before and was full of positivity got out the car got over the fence and straight into the bog before you get anywhere near the hill  Jacks techniques would come in handy.

We set off at 830 and was felling great,a long walk up the road then an up hill trek, deluded myself in thinking that the twisting ridge was the top.Like I said me and Donny hav'nt been oot in months so taking it easy and only 1 munro for the day was'nt to testing but still got up a sweat. We got to the summit at 11 and the sun was burning all the way up but when we got to the top the wind was blowing and coldness kicking in.We headed down and bumped into a couple of fellow walkers on way down.

We went back down via the twisting ridge and back at the car for 130 a great wee day and nice break in hill for a new year of munro bagging.
