The gentle climb to Carn Gorm was actually quite difficult I though (though i am pretty unfit). The low cloud cover and the 65mph winds on the summits didn't make for a hugely enjoyable experience but all in all, it was a good walk. I even got to shoe ski down the east side of Carn Mairg which knocked a good 15 minutes off the time.

I would say this is quite an easy walk once the initial beasting up Carn gorm is completed, though if you are taking a dog the rocks at Carn Mairg and Meall a' Bharr will make things difficult for your pooch and depending on your dog, you may need to lift them over that patch

It certainly was a bit misty. The dog seemed quite bemused.
