Been around for a while

but don't think I said hello

Retired last year and fancied taking to the hills. Went up Schiehallion with a few others but, despite reaching the summit, I felt it was a bit too much.

Been doing mainly Marylins and a few Donalds over the winter months to get my stamina/fitness levels up and now feel more able.

Did Ben Lomond a few weeks back when we had a week of summer weather, did Ben Vorlich (Loch Earn) yesterday and conditions were very different!

Hi there. New to this forum today but enjoying looking about. Loads of cracking walks out there that are well under 3000 feet. Had a fantastic Sunday a few weeks ago wandering about the Pentlands from Flotterstone car park. Tinto Hills another favourite of mine. Beautiful views.
Heading for Ben Vorlich myself on Saturday. Hoping for better weather than you had by the sound of it.
Keep up the good work and will look forward to hearing more about your travels :D
