Weather - Managed to find a 4hr gap in the rain
, breezy on way up and gusty wind at the top.
Not going to write an account of the route, its very easy to follow from the start point.
- Ben Lomond from about half way up
The snow line started around 800, and with no winter skills or equipment except my "yaktrax" snow grips I was a little out of my comfort zone towards the top in the knee deep snow at points and how close the snowy path was to the edge at times.
- Snowy path
However - very enjoyable and good views at the top.
- Trig Point
- View from Top
2hr20 to the top. 1hr 40 to car followed by a 6hr drive home
