Weather - Managed to find a 4hr gap in the rain :D , breezy on way up and gusty wind at the top.
Not going to write an account of the route, its very easy to follow from the start point.

Ben Lomond from about half way up

The snow line started around 800, and with no winter skills or equipment except my "yaktrax" snow grips I was a little out of my comfort zone towards the top in the knee deep snow at points and how close the snowy path was to the edge at times.

However - very enjoyable and good views at the top.
