Surprising Everest pictures

Wherever you go, the highest mountain in a region/country is bound to be the busiest. It makes sense that this rule also applies for Everest, but I was still very surprised to see these pictures:

I've read plenty on Everest and overcrowding is a dominant theme, being amongst the greatest, if not the single greatest danger on a modern expedition. That second photo however, surprised me. That image really brings it home.

My eye sight isn't what it used to be, so I can't tell if there's any of the "jeans 'n' trainers" brigade in there! Might even be a Tesco poly bag! :lol:

None of them have a dug with them! Weird. Whats the point of walking up a hill if you dont have your dugs with you.

You've got to be careful when you do that on Everest. I'd to take the oxygen mask off mine for the summit shot.
