Glen Affric holiday

Glen Affric holiday

Postby oldguy01 » Wed Jul 11, 2012 3:52 pm

Hi, I've just registered because I will be making the long trek to holiday in Glen Affric later this year. I've been researching the various walks and routes suggested and have enjoyed reading members posts following their experiences. Congratulations on an excellent website.
I think that I will attempt Tom a Choinich & Toll Creagach as my first 2 Munros - only a few more to go! Not sure that there's enough mileage in the old legs to complete them all - hope that my 14 year old son will have his appetite wetted by the experience and that he will take on the challenge for me - xbox permitting!
Cheers for now and I will be posting again on my experiences, Guy

Welcome to Walkhighlands. Glen Affric is a stunning area - spectacular pinewoods there. Have a great trip - and let us know how you get on :D
