What can you say,,Dumgoyne,,,steep wee bugger!

Been a lovely morning but getting greyer by the minute with low cloud giving way to lovely views out the Clyde Estuary and up to Conic hill and a misty Loch Lomond. Parked at the layby opposite the distillery and took the field ascent rather than up through the houses/woods. Uphill from the word go. Had plans of heading off over to Earls seat which is becoming our new nemesis. But with absolutely ZERO visibility, gale force winds and swirling wet mist at the top of DG........we opted instead to head back down and go to the Beech Tree for a coffee. Intrepid Women Who Lunch indeed. Still, Nice wee half day oot. great cardio workout and good to see a busy wee hill.
