Gear guru Phil has just posted his latest gear comparison test:

must agree with you about paramo they are way ahead when it comes to soft shell ,this is due to them seeing to the future & knowing what we want thank,s paramo

Just a word of warning on the Paramo Velez Adventure Smock. The lighter outer fabric is not that robust and backpackers and thru hikers will find that it wears and tears far too easily. For day walking and cycling it is a good choice though.
