Found three Adders enjoying the sun (yes sun) 20th June this year in Glen Lee, Angus :o

Are you sure it was not just the same one, following you about? I seem to recognise it from Glen Lui near Braemar.

:lol: :lol: :lol: Caberfeidh, wonderful, I kid you not. Seemingly Glen Esk, Glen Lee well known for the number of snakes. Funny you should mention Braemar, the only other time I have seen a snake is when I was walking up Glen Ey from Braemar :wink:

Great photos! We have loads of adders in the hills where I live (unfortunately), but mostly they leave us alone if we leave them alone :wink:

Moobli, they are lovely creatures really and will only attack if feel threatened. If they see or hear you coming they would rather slip away. (I was going to say walk but that's not right :lol: ) Saying that I don't think I'll be wild camping in Glen Lee in a hurry :lol: :lol:
