I just was introduced to meetup.com, you can find any sort of groups near you, have you tried that out yet?
I went on a walk with a group and it was really fun because there are all sorts of people and not all old friends, so it's easy to get to know people.

I believe there is a forward and district hillwalking club that gets out quite frequently. I think "merry walker" Is part of it?

Im based in Fife but im happy to travel. Ive been to Glen Clova and Glen Doll as well as one of the munro's. Im really keen, fit and up for a challenge, within reason, lol. :D (p.s i am female)
