I haven't done that much winter hills yet either so thought this would be a good option for the shorter days. Fingers crossed for a good forecast :)

The only slight issue with the route is the style over the deer fence - not sure Bob the Border Collie will cope and he's way too heavy for me to safely humph him over it, but he may manage...who knows, might be able to pull up the bottom wire enough for him to wriggle through. PM me ur contact details, and we can arrange times etc. I'm happy to drive from Dufftown if you can get here, probably need to be leaving here by 7.00 at the latest, dark til 8am - Yuck!!!!
But just thought, the shortest day will be the day before, so the days will be lengthening again!!! whoop de Whoop!!!!

Hello

College is also finished on the 21st. Can't walk before xmas because for some reason the wife wants me to go on honeymoon with her on sunday

However, its looking good for a two day trip on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th Jan. Either as two seperate days or as on overnight trip, in a bothy. Bit chilly for camping.

Would be keen to do hills i have not done yet. Have crampons, iceaxe and all other winter equipment required
