Greetings from Partick

Hiya, I'm Ross, I'm 27, live in Partick and I study Photography at the Art School here in Glasgow. I've done various bits of sauntering about on hills before, but just last year decided to start getting a bit more into it and trying to get a few munros bagged. I've also just invested in an ice axe and some crampons, looking to get into the wonderful world of winter walking. Just on to try and cadge knowledge from more experienced people, find some routes, and hopefully find people to join in some winter wanderings with.

You could try this bunch - http://www.meetup.com/scottish-hillwalkers/ , or these http://www.meetup.com/The-Glasgow-Walking-and-Hillwalking-Club/ . You join online, then sign up for various walks, etc. As with any club there's a mixed bunch, just find those compatible with you.
