Uploading More Than One Photo

Uploading More Than One Photo

Postby RadMan » Fri Jan 04, 2013 2:04 pm

Is there any way to upload more than one photo on trip reports? I dont want to use photobucket etc and it takes me forever having to upload them one by one. Its so tedious and bores me death.
Doing reports for my diary takes ten times as long as it could do.
Any chance you could add the option of multiple photo uploads?
A lot of us would be ever so grateful.

if your photies are too big they take forever to upload, the WH website resizes them anyway. I find it saves lots of time to resize them to a suitable size first on microsoft picture manager or similar

Yes i do use microsofts picture resizer to bring them down around 100kb each which is fine.
I just wish i could select the whole 25 at once and upload them instead of 1 at a time then have to place them inline.
Its soul destroying.

I'm afraid it's really not feasible for us to provide a bulk upload.

I don't think most sites allow any photo uploading directly on their forums at all. The best solution is to go with one of the photo hosting services such as Flickr pro, Picasa, Photobucket etc. - large sites like this have distributed content delivery networks so the uploaded photos can all be going to different servers.
