Day before we had been on Gullane beach with blue sky so the photo at the top here was a nice contrast. Overcast day, plenty of snow above 650m. Followed the main highway up the hill and care had to be taken crossing some of the snow drifts as they were a few feet deep in places. Had dogs and so did the other brave souls that we saw that day barring one couple. Wind chill was though and we built a wee igloo brick wall at the top for fun and shelter. Must come back here on of our rare summer days !
