Looks superb. :D
A few more questions...
Did you get the temp inside (and out) during the night?
Was the snow mold custom bought or made?
Did you do anything than take pictures Paul?

We didn't take a temperature, but in Chris's account he says it was -2.6C in his tent so not that cold - would have been warmer in the igloo. The snow mould belongs to Phil; it was made/invented by a man called Igloo Ed (a friend of Chris T) and has a website here.

What next? Ice Hotel??

We are working on a rate card now

 Love it gaffr! Thanks for all the comments everyone.

David Lintern has shot a great timelapse video of the igloo build -10 hours compressed to 90 seconds, now on his blog and added to the report above.

What a great little post; makes a change from bad news of people dying in avalanches or unsavoury stories of peoples bad "call of nature" habits.
The time lapse video is a good addition, show just how much work went into this.

Also, this reminded me of an episode of Blue Peter, many many years ago.
They built an igloo and went for a record of how many people they could get inside it.
Sneaky beggers had two doors in it though, so the dozens of people they claimed was obviously just a joke.

Maybe an impromptu HW Meet is called for.....

"How many walkers does it take to fill a WH Igloo?"
