Hi I'm considering for a change doing a walk in Europe this year. Looking for maybe Germany or Portugal. can anyone recommend a good walk with a reputable company , level 2/3. Looking for self guided between ££400 - £500

Are you looking for a long distance walk or several day-tours?

I visited the Picos De Europa (Northern Spain) in November for a couple of days hiking. I picked up a book before the trip which had a lot of walks in, day walks to week long. It cost me and the two others with me roughly £150/each which got us a flight, hotel an hire car. I'll be heading back for a longer trip next time as there are some stunning walks featured in the book...just watch out for the wolf and bear

P.s. walk report I did with a few photos. http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=28574

What about the 'Way of St. James' in Spain? You can walk bits from it.
Or in Germany a visit to Saxon Switzerland (close to Dresden) is pretty amazing...http://www.germany.travel/en/leisure-an ... -park.html other walks you can find on the same website here...http://www.germany.travel/en/leisure-and-recreation/walking/walking.html
