This weekend was for our Christmas Night out. There were 10 of us and I was allowed to choose the location…So I chose Glencoe !
Out of the 10 of us only 3 of us walked. I wasn’t sure we would get a walk in over the weekend so I was delighted. With lots going on at work and in my social life I had hardly been home to look at walking routes…. So I texted Johnny Corbett my PA and asked him to pick me a small hill for me near Glencoe. Not much to say about this walk. Pretty straightforward one.
Started the walk at 120pm after I had dropped some friends off at the Isles of Glencoe Hotel for a swim
After the Ballachulish Bridge we took the B863 road and parked just after Callert House.
There is enough space here for about 3 cars.

From here we headed up the well trodden track. Theres a good path most of the way. We headed to the west ridge of Mam na Gualainn and headed east to the summit.

One of the crew struggled not far from the summit and was happy to sit and wait the short time for us to reach the summit and back to where she was sitting.

From the summit we headed south west down the ridge and picked up the path back to the car.

Good to see you got this done, how did it feel being expedition leader for a change? Have a look at what you missed from the summit. :D http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15975
