This is someone's review of the jacket btw vango don't make them anymore

Rating:
Fabric: Powertex 6000
Fill: Field Sensor
Price Paid: $280
Up to the minute combination of 100% nylon microfibre Protex 6000 and Field Sensor mesh but a small step back in time to the well proven three quarter length. 4 covered, zipped pockets to the front and concealed map pocket behind double storm flap. A wrap around integral hood with volume adjuster for extended use with or without helmet or hat. Interactive zip for extended use with fleece liner and storm covered pit zips for ventilation. Snow and rain proof internal skirt cuffs and neck seal ensure the mountain and Plateau are bombproof. Hot tape seams throughout.

That the text of Vango (see their homepage http://www.vango.co.uk) I just bought the jacket by the Kampeermarkt in Eindhoven. Why?

The price/quality was very good. I like the possibility to wrap the headcover.

It's a universal zip, very handy to zip in my fleece.

The jacket has is slippery on the shoulders, so that a backpack can not destroy it (by sticking on it)

The product comes from Scotland and that a rainy and windy country, so .... a lot of experience.

The last reason was that I bought a Vango sleeping bag, this one is really good, so I have great faith in this jacket.

After some time I will give a update how the jacket performs. Till know it very good waterproof!
