Stoppped at Craft & Things for coffee cake and to buy 2 books - Affleck Grey's " The Big Grey Man of Ben MacDui" and the Complete Writings of Mallory - goo reading ahead!
Kinlochleven for some Ice Climbing fun at the Ice Factor - great team, great fun, scary stuff at first but you soon learn the technique and exaust yourself getting higher and faster!

Then on Day 2 we headed to Culloden Battlefield to revisit my Clan Grave - not been here since the 80's - new centre is very impressive. From there it was lunch, Loch Ness and a drive before back for dinner, wine and a sleep ahead of Shiehallion

Schiehallion - stunning views, amazing weather and wee sip of its namesake beer courtesy of a boy who'd carried it up. Took the WH route, not many others on the hill and an easy walk so plenty of stopping for snaps and coffee to take it all in
