Inveruglas Carpark

Inveruglas Carpark

Postby colingray8 » Tue Apr 16, 2013 8:48 pm

Does anyone know if the carpark in Inveruglas (the one used for Ben's Vane & Vorlich) is pay and display? If so how much to park for all day?

Thanks,

/Colin. :D

I have done both with my mates who drive and neither times have we had to pay.

The closest parking space to Ben Vorlich is a a small lay over near ardlui train station (as i remember). For Ben Vane we parked at Inveruglas visitors center and again didnt have to pay.

Obviously this depends on which route you plan to do, I done them on two different occasions, and whether you are going to do both of them in one day

Last time I was at the visitor centre (probably about a year ago), there was no charge, but I'd take a few quid just in case, as they've installed p&d machines at Ben a'An and Ben Lomond in the last year or so.

Just to update this, there is now a pay machine but I didn't see any sign posts saying it was pay and display (I did arrive in the dark  ) but clocked the machine beside the cafe when I got back to the car (Think it said £4).

I'm currently awaiting the ticket so I can throw it in the bin

Yes it's £4 for the day! Nearly as steep as Ben Vane itself!!
