Was not intending to go out Pars Cowden today . Woke early 0430 breakfast then off Got to layby just past Portmoak church and on the go for 0530 . A nice quick easy walk once through the new forest plantation at Kilmadog picked up the path up over Munduff Hill sun starting to rise braw . Nice and clear Bishop hill to the left with its prominant cairn got to the cairn at 0630 . Only one thing to do now a quick photo then retrace my steps could have gone down to Kinneswood then walked along the road ,took the easy way, Jake found what must be the only patch of snow left in Fife . Got back to the car at 0730 . A nice quick walk in solitude back to Rosyth AWAY the PARS.

I know Bishop Hill well and the round of East Lomond, West Lomond and the Bishop is as good a day out as any in the Highlands. That photo of Jake with his tongue hanging out - he looks like a werewolf!

Love your wee dog, he looks happy to be out on the hills. I enjoyed the walk to Bishop Hill when visited a few weeks ago.
