Well this wee hill gave me a good blow out, up and down in 40mins, I think that must be one of my fastest climbs. This walk starts on an unlisted road at the back of Ballingry where there is sufficient parking for maybe five cars at the most, two the near side, three the far side. A good path with steps has been constructed which makes for an easy climb on a good surface for most of the way.

Path soon climbs up through the trees and gives good views South

Views South over Loch Ore

When out of the trees the gradient relents and a slightly wet path takes you over a lesser top between the heather until you come to the Trig point

Wonderful Blue skies, I was getting hot at this stage, but by now I could see the Trig point

From the summit you can clearly see the Lomonds and Bishop Hill

View East from the lower top, which you pass over to get to the summit.

What a fine walk - every hill has a bottom and a top and it's always great to get to the top, catch your breath and have a look around. Fine pics too.

Thanks Adam, it was a fine day all round, bright and sunny but cold wind, but keep going and don't stop too long and your fine, in fact got a aweat up today. Getting nearer your Alva hills, watch this space :D
