killin walks and eateries?

killin walks and eateries?

Postby Mr Stonk » Wed Jun 26, 2013 5:58 pm

My mother spent some of her childhood in killin over 65yrs ago and hasn't been there since, tomorrow I'm going to take her there for the day.

Anyone know if there are any decent walks from killin that are not too long and possibly one that ends up back in the village?
Also any recommendations on where to eat....

I'd particularly recommend the Old Smiddy for food; the Falls of Dochart Inn (I think that they have a café in part of the inn) are also good. Admittedly I've only eaten at either in the evenings, but I prefer those to the other places I've tried in the village.
