Munro Rounds

Munro Rounds

Getting near to completing my first round and I wondered if there was any plans to include counting rounds on your WH profile?

Not sure how this would work but once I've finished I will be going straight onto my 2nd round. The munro map has been an immensely useful tool. I pretty much look at it every morning planning my next outing and probably the next one after that.

It would be great if there was an option to record a complete munro round and the date completed. This could in turn give you a new map to record your hills.

As far as I can see I have 3 options for recording my 2nd round:

- Create a new user profile
- Manually untick all the munros I've completed
- Go old school and get a paper map or something

I realise this would probably be a bit complex to implement I just wondered if this had been queried before or you had any thoughts regarding this?

We've added a new optional profile field for anyone who has completed the Munros and wants to start recording another round. The field lets you enter the number of rounds completed. The idea being that you would then blank your Munro map and start using it to record a new round. We could add a button to blank your Munro map with one click if there is demand... but have a worry that some people will do this by mistake (even with a confirmation), so given the numbers of people invovled and the fact you would only very rarely need to do this it is maybe better for you to delete them manually.

The number of Munro rounds completed is then shown on your Walks blog page (only) - there's not really space to show next to your individual posts (and it would also slow the forum slightly).

Thanks Paul. Didn't think I was that fussed by this feature but it makes my Munro map much more interesting to look at
