Just a few more details given on another site.

Wisp is a male 7yr old smooth coated black and white border collie. He is chipped and wearing a red collar. He was helping to gather sheep when he got stuck on crags nr Falls of Unich at Loch Lee, Glen Esk.
His owner left to seek help but Wisp was no longer there when he returned.

I'd assume from this information that the dog has tried to get off the crags and may well be injured.
If anyone is up doing Mount Keen this weekend from this side, could they take binoculars and give these crags and their bases a good scan. Would be even better if anyone can spare the time to search the areas beneath Falls of Unich.

Hope this wee worker gets back home soon.

Apparently Wisp followed a lady to her car the evening he went missing and she handed him in to Queen St Police station in Aberdeen.
