Google is your friend :wink:

http://iqc.garmin.com/eCustomer/KODSelfService/request.do?session={5614b3b0-1a50-11e3-74e3-000000000000}&event=1&view()=c%7Bf9a2c810-bcde-11de-5db4-000000000000%7D&objectId=&eksObjectId=&objectType=Case&isJumpEnabled=false&isContentJumpEnabled=false&vendorKey=&versionId=105&objectScore=96&from=results

Hmm the forum doesn't cope with that link very well - should be the first hit:

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=basec ... e&ie=UTF-8

Basically try the File menu :-)

Hi Garry

It sounds like you have managed to download the gpx file but you can't just double-click it to open it.

1. Downloadd the gpx file to your desktop (or somewhere easy to ge to)
2. Open and minimize BaseCamp
3. Navigate to where you put the gpx file
4. Go back to BaseCamp and make sure you can see both BaseCamp and the gpx file
5. Drag the gpx file onto the 'My Collection' folder on LHS of BaseCamp
6. Create a route in BaseCamp
7. Send the route to your device (eTrex 30) within BaseCamp

An alternative and very easy method:
Download EASYGPS programme to your pc. Open basecamp and connect gps. Download gpx file, easygps will automatically open and display the gpx file. Click on gpx file in easygps and then press send. Done. Go walk :wink:
