Sunday turned out to be a bright sunny day for a walk up ben chonzie. Parked the car abd started off about 8:30am.
The track is a gentle incline to start with but soons steepens. Snow line started at about 700metres and the strong wind made it feel cold.
After the cairn we headed across the snow covered moorland section, slightly boggy in places, to the metal fence line and headed up towards the summit.
The walk along to the summit was hard going in the strong wind but we made it to the top. A quick few minutes at the summit to congratulate ourselves on our 4th munro with a wee dram then we headed back down as it was bitterly cold in the strong wind.
First munro for us in wintry conditions but despite the strong gale we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Some of the views on route were spectacular.
