This was my first Munro and I was excited. I was amazed at the Foss car park to see that myself and Johnny were not the only walkers out on new years day.
It was wet at the start of the walk and as we got higher the wet became snow and then icy. It was a great experience to get into white out conditions on occasions during the walk. I had never been in a white out, so as you could imagine, it was an amazing sight (?) and fantastic experience. The false summits were enduring as at one point I thought we had made it to the cairn, wrong!! we were not there yet.

Total joy at reaching the top "My First Munro"
