Warning Feel free to use this board to arrange to meet up with other walkers, either individually or for a particular walk, or for a larger get together over a weekend. The usual precautions are advised when arranging to meet individuals you have not previously met.

Please note that meetups are NOT arranged by Walkhighlands and everyone who arranges to meet for a walk using this board is responsible for their own safety. Please ensure you do not attempt a walk beyond your own abilities.

Hi!

I would like to see the highest mountain in Scotland. I've never been there and I'm curious how it looks like in winter but I have apropriate equipment for winter climbing and would be better climb in company :) I'll be travel from Skye. And in Cairngorms I'm planning Loch Eanaich and Ben Macdui. If there is anyone willing to those trips please let me know :)

Hi Anna

I am looking to walk up Ben Macdui this year and would also quite happily do Ben Nevis again, as the last time I reached the top the view was blocked by clouds. I don't have winter or climbing gear though so it would have to be in the Spring or Summer via the tourist walking routes.

I'll try again get Ben Nevis in summer as well :) it was cloudy and too dangerous for me alone.

If you're still thinking this weekend in Aviemore, please be aware it's half term and they have excellent snow for ski-ing :crazy:
