My wife and I will be staying in Fort Augustus the last two weeks in May and would be interested in any suggestions on nice walks or hikes within an hour or so of the town (we will have a car). I have identified a few good bets but nobody knows better than locals and ardent hikers that have been to the area. Your suggestions would be much appreciated. We are in our fifties but are in pretty good shape, although we are not looking for anything too risky or arduous. Thanks!!
