Rachelle came for the first bit but went back down since it was fairly steep and drizzly at the start. Misty at the top with light wind but the cloud started to clear on the way down and the sun came out later - atmospheric with the cloud clearing. Saw a ptarmigan with 2 chicks and heard a cuckoo. Good views of the crags and waterfalls and of the river down in the glen on the way down.
Went to Balnakeil and Ceannabeinne beach in the afternoon.
