No fireplace, so don't carry any coal in! Not been since 2007, so don't know current state.

Was up there last weekend. Didn’t go inside, but from outside, it looks in very good nick.

Watch out for the massive and fierce hound though. There’s a dude fixing up the lodge next door, and his mutt is a real, snarling, angry beast. It came ‘this close’ to getting a walking pole rammed up its jacksie! :shock:

So far as I'm aware the Stable is in good shape, but as already noted, there is no fireplace or stove. Can't comment on the dog!

Was there a couple of months ago. Easy walk in on estate track and bothy in good condition and ready for compleaters to use. :)

Thanks for the replies - I'll watch out for the hound and have a go - off to hit some Tops around the White Mounth :roll:
