No tethers, it was a wild one. It could have been carrying nesting material. In fact, with a bit of tweaking of a picture with Picassa, it is a bit clearer...

I grew up near an osprey nest, and they did seem to have a thing for flying about carrying a bit of kelp off the beach.. Always wondered why that was :crazy:
