Hello, MMM.

I'm hoping to do the 3 you mention plus Beinn Dubhchraig from Dalrigh the same week:-

Could these plans be compatible?

You guys will save some mileage if you do this as a linear with cars at either end.

We did this in June, I think it saved around 5 miles of walking. The only dodgy bit is the railway line, where you'll need to take the boots off to wade through the underpass, or chance it nipping over the tracks into the forest. Park one car at Glen Lochay and the other at Dalrigh.

PS, doesn't save you any ascent

Maybe on my second round

Hope you get decent weather. It's a lovely walk, Ben Lui is a tremendous peak, and the walk out through the pinewoods to Dalrigh is fantastic.

Hi George,

I don't think the forecast suits tomorrow's route, so I'll give it a miss. Thanks for the invite anyway. I'm in the Southern Highlands now and the rivers are looking full, so the R. Lochy could be a problem to cross if you still go. Best of luck, whatever you decide to do.

Cheers, Simon.
