Some mist to start with but it soon cleared to give a nice sunny day – very atmospheric as it cleared from the hilltops. Amazing views down the loch towards Knoydart and over towards Kintail. Great rock formations walking along the ridge and the path made a nice gentle descent at the end of the walk.
Saw a dipper at Allt a’Mheil, red deer, a raven and a bird of prey (possibly a merlin?). Warm in the shelter walking up with a welcome breeze at the top. Stunning views from Gleouraich made a nice picnic spot!
