I want to get more into hiking, im in my mid thirties,starting out now. I grew up in rural area and i walked my fine collei bastard every day 1 hour uphill for 12 years, and thats my only hill walking experience in life:)

Is that what we in Scotland would call a collie cross breed?

My daughter has one of those. Her mother is a collie, and at first I thought her father could be a sheep (obviously impossible) and then I met a rough collie and identified the father immediately. Energetic dogs. Here, she is just a puppy
