Finally hit the big 50. Not ma age just my Munro tally  and Its only taken me 7 years but hey ho why rush I say. In the past I've not been out as much as I would like. Other commitments and maybe the fact i'm turning into a fair weather walker especially when walking on my own. And of course there are other lesser hills and walks to enjoy. The past couple of years there has been more of an effort to get oot and aboot.

The route is pretty well documented so i'll share a few pics. The only difference is we descended down the Sneck of Farchal then a short re-ascent to Hill of Strone 850m. This was followed by an enjoyable walk SE down the broad ridge by Cairn lnks around to the Glen Cova Hotel for a couple of well deserved cheeky pints.

Thanks for this - I have a big soft spot for these hills - not surprising I used to live in Dundee and wandered up here regularly   and usually in good weather, except for the time I did Mayar on a navigation course in the clag - yes we got to the top spot on, we had a good teacher

Familiar territory (as another ex Dundee inhabitant), and lovely colours going up Corrie Fee :) . Have never done the hills south over Hill of Strone. One day maybe.

These are two lovely hills. I went up in winter when the stags were targets in the glen - that was incredible hearing a gunshot within close range and watching a stag stagger and drop dead almost right in front of my eyes. It was a surreal day with glorious sunshine, bitterly cold winds and the occasional snow shower which made navigating the descent a little tricky. Loved these two hills :D Thanks for sharing!

Ooo, lovely! :D I did like these two when I did them in the drizzly mist. But they are much better on a clear day.
