Weather forecasts predicted sunshine on Scotland's East Coast, so we left Glasgow at 7am and headed for St Abbs.
The sky lit up with an orange and pink glow over the Pentlands as we headed down the M8, couldn't help thinking we should've left 90 minutes earlier and took in the sun rising from St Abbs head...!

Arrived around 9am and we were walking 9.30am. Very easy walk to follow as numerous information boards and signposts help you take the right path. Deviated slightly from the WH route to take in some of the cliffs/coastline.

Cliffs - We walked half way along!

It was 45 minutes drive from St Abbs up the coastline to North Berwick. The car park at Law Hill had an interesting field full of brussel sprouts - almost tempted  !

Just a wonderful walk that takes in dramatic cliffs/coastlines, colourful fields, a lighthouse, a Nordic looking village, jagged rock formations and the sea.

Looks like I'm destined for the smaller, but stunning walks, due to my knee injury flaring up on my 1st return to a gym class (metafit) after almost a year! After taking it easy for the last 12 months, and receiving physio, I thought I was ready to take the next step and get back into some full on cardio classes...I hope I improve for winter

Nice going Db. Great pics of the St Abbs walk as well as of my home town and the Law (almost see my house in one of the pics). Hope the knee repairs soon.

Great photos, looks a lovely area :D . Hope the knee improves, in my experience it can be difficult finding the difference between therapeutic exercise and 'overdoing it'

I'm a sucker for cliff walks, shame this one is so far away from Inverness... I would love to visit the south-east of Scotland at some point :D
