Creagan na Beinne from the east (A8220)

Creagan na Beinne from the east (A8220)

Postby lochlaggan » Sun Nov 09, 2014 2:31 pm

I've not seen any reports and want to find out if anyone has cycled in to Creagan na Beinne from the east, along the river Almond? If so I'd be grateful on any information about how good the track is etc.

I know it's not the usual way but that's exactly why I want to try this approach.

Thanks

Grant

Do you mean coming in from the Sma Glen? The only time that I have been in the Glen was in the fifties when I was still in school. We camped down in there close to a farm and I do recall seeing a post van delivering mail to the farm....so I guess the wee road was fine?
The only time that we went to Creagan na Beinne and its 'wee ronnie' neighbour was from the North and travelling in from Loch Tay. On that occasion we dropped down to Dunan but it was winter so didn't see much of the top part of the Glen.
