One of my best days on the hills ever -possibly my best to date !!!!!!!!!!
Me & Oskar today , stopped in Mc Donalds at FW for b-fast at 7 am then away again, lots of deer to see once on the access road to Loch Quoich , low cloud blowing through which was forecast to clear. Great route to follow as per route description via stalkers paths , not too wet at all underfoot despite all the recent rain , on topping out on Spidean Mialach , I decided a long break was in order as it was going to clear up - I had plenty of time & wanted to enjoy the views.
It did clear up and was awesome indeed - I had my 1st broken spectre on top of SP , in fact I rested for over an hour and had 9 broken spectres in total during this time , 1 in particular was more stunning than the rest.I moved on along the ridge enjoying the views as I went. Unfortunately I cant put fotos on here as the house PC is in need of replacement - everyone just uses WiFi for tablets /fones etc but I did put 10 - 12 fotos on TH via FB at the time & a video on FB too.
An excellent walk - when going back to complete the other 2 Munros at Loch Quoich I plan to ride up on my Vespa GTS 250 ie climb 1 munro - camp overnight then do the 2nd Munro next day before riding home again
