My young un's first scottish hill trip

Postby shane1974 » Fri Nov 21, 2014 1:07 pm

hi there
Im planning on bringing my young ones (9,11) north of the border to edinburgh to try the pentlands next weekend possibly the Saturday
they have done a few hills in the lakes and cheviots but nothing in scotland.
i thought these would be a good starter for them.

Anyone interested in bring ing there young ones along or to join me for some 'ADULT' conversation is more than welcome.
i was thinking of Allemuir but am open to suggestions.

Another reason is that they are easy to reach via public transport (this is due to the fact that i dont drive) i am open to suggestions further afield but transportation will need to be considered.

thanks

shane
